Summer Solstice!! My birthday:)

Summer Solstice is upon us and we see and feel the culmination of a cycle where by the sun has progressively spent more time in the sky before retiring to the west.  This coming 21st of June will be the longest day of the year with the shortest night and we celebrate with eating the lovely fruits of the season, drumming until the sun goes down and generally having a huge high energy time!!  Why is this time of year so special?  Well, it is the time where the suns shines steadily and all the vegetables and fruits begin to ripen and the fruits of our intentions from Winter Solstice bear fruit as well. What did you intend to have happen in the future while sitting and thinking in front of the fire at Yuletide?  Did you see it through to completion or are you seeing the buds of those seeds planted?  Remember to enjoy that which has come and be ready for that which is yet to be.  And most importantly enjoy this time for the sun will steadily and surly set a little bit sooner each night shortening our days until we are in the Winter season once again.  But until then enjoy your summer and the warm days ahead.  Happy Solstice my friends:)
