The Veil is thinning.....

The veil between the physical and non-physical worlds is thinning as it always does this time of year.  This is the end of the agricultural year where we harvest pumpkins, hard squash, corn, persimmons and pomegranates.  This is a time for celebration and gratitude and some of us also decide it is time to depart.  More souls leave this dimension during the fall than any other time as the ability to shift from living to non-living is easier.  Since death in the fields is prominent and the trees are preparing to shut down for the winter the soul has a choice if it will continue to strive to do more work in the coming Winter months and die (transform) without leaving the body and be reborn in the Spring or to let the work that has been accomplished be enough and leave the body to the resting place between death and new birth into another incarnation. This time of year has always been my favorite, I feel the reason is that rest is eminent during the winter months where our soul work goes inward to a more quiet and reflective space.  Retreat is a theme for me during the months of Autumn and Winter.  I find myself outside sitting in my backyard silently sipping on tea and stroking my dogs head while thinking of quiet things and inner musings.  So if you feel like a nap is in order and not sure why, just know your body is wise to the slowing down of the natural world.  Don't fight the process, let go and grab an uplifting book to read until the point where your eyes feel heavy with sleepiness or beautiful music to listen to while you rest your eyes and body and let the season carry you to the warm, cozy, nurturing time that is Winter.  Rest here awhile and your soul will reveal secrets that have been whispering to you.  Listen and let your emotions respond accordingly.  Let tears flow, or joy upwell, even anger surface and hearts desires be known.  Now is the time to hear the call of our souls and the light that lives there.  Bring to the planet your beautiful clarity and strivings to be a shining beacon to all who are still in the dark night of their own making.  Be the amazing authentic self that is you!!
