Twenty years ago I started to work with the Aquarian Tarot deck that was published in the 70's and I have been fascinated with Tarot ever since. I now have 6 different decks. I use the first published deck the Rider Waite-Smith deck for teaching my Tarot classes and then I have the Llewllyn Celtic deck, the Morgan-Greer deck, the Dragon Tarot and the Fairy Tarot deck. I always allow my clients to choose the deck that will be used for their readings so they have a good connection to the images. When I first started I was amazed at how accurate the cards were in answering my questions or having knowledge of the situation I was inquiring about. They are quite precise yet compassionate as we learn what is most important in our lives. When I have a hard time letting go of those things that I no longer need often the cards will suggest I spend more time inquiring within, being in solitude (The Hermit cared) or seeking the advice of a trusted mentor or friend (The Hierophant). The cards have become a practice of knowing my deepest self. So when I started to read the cards for others this same theme was present. But the cards are only as accurate as the inquiry honestly given. Often the answers or messages require us to make a change and that can be difficult for most of us and what we usually want is someone else or something else to change.
Each card has a message and I hear the answers often in my head in detail about why this card has shown up. I have even been told when a person is in deep denial but asked to continue sending the messages. As the messenger it is not up to me to make a person hear what I am saying only to relay what is said in the cards. And sometimes a loved one that has passed on will send additional messages of encouragement or love. The impressions on my mind are easy to discern from my own thoughts as I never ask about the nature of an inquiry from a client. That way my own life experience will not get in the way. Being able to bring to someone a message from a loved one who is no longer living or a strong spirit guide (who sometimes has messages for me as well) has become one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Tarot readings can be a way to hear without doubting the message and a rewarding way to reach people and to change how they think about the Divine presence in their lives. It is not a far away energy that is unapproachable or uninterested in our daily lives. Divine interest is always there all around us. Coming closer to connecting with the Divine will change our lives and we will become happier and more compassionate people living a more peaceful life. And this will change the energy on the planet as well. Heaven truly can be on earth if we all perceive the presence of the Divine in our lives and feel connected to it. Reading the cards has become a beautiful way for me to help people to feel as if they are being heard and answered all at the same time. I love connecting people to the unseen world through the cards and helping them find peace and joy!!
